Randy Williams, a ‘03 BFA graduate from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in industrial design, web, education, and graphic design. His achievements include receiving the 2003 SIUC IDSA Merit Award, R.E.A.C.H Award, and being a Rickert-Ziebold Finalist. Randy has contributed his expertise to notable companies like Insight Product Development, Fossil/DKNY Watches, Pacific Northern, and Keys Fitness. A personal mentee of the late and historic Industrial Designer Charles Harrison In terms of leadership: Randy actively serves as a board member for both the Osmosis Project/The Organization of Black Designers-Chicago with more than 15 years of accountability and five years with the Fire Safety Foundation. He has taught Industrial Design workshops for their annual Design Youth Forums held for Inner City Youth at the University of Illinois at Chicago campus. While at the Fire Safety Foundation, he provides graphic design and marketing strategies for the outreach of marketing assets from senior citizens to children. He has worked and served in his home churches for almost 20 years in Media. Currently under leadership/accountability and responsible for the Virtual Congregations at Third Baptist Church of Chicago. * He has led industrial design for more than six categories of consumer products and has given strategic development and execution of baby accessories, sports fitness, rehabilitation, culinary, consumer electronics, footwear, and fire safety. * He has been a team member for the development of products within a consultant or corporate environment for various companies, including JCPenney, Mikimoto, DKNY, Fossil Watches, Zales, Ironman Fitness, and many more. * He has been the lead graphic designer for faith-based and nonprofit organizations globally such as Truth to the Youth, Family Unification Network, Mt. Olive Church of God, S.R.T, Inc., EJUUAC, Inc., and many others. * He has served as a global service for design, branding, strategy, and marketing, having served more than 250 diverse identities across the United States and internationally. * He has been responsible for teaching four levels of education, including experience teaching Pre-K to collegiate as well as special needs education and coaching basketball. Additionally, he is a devoted Christian 20+ year proud member of the Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity and, inspired by the life and footsteps of Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr. and his mentors in Business, Faith-Based, and Non-Profit work.
